Quarterly Newsletter - July 2022

Hello from the Cidi Labs team!  We hope you are well and enjoying a great summer (in the Northern Hemisphere).  This edition of our newsletter is short, but nonetheless sweet!  Here are a few things we’re excited to share:

Upcoming Webinar: The Journey Toward Optimal Course Design - Making Every Step Easier

In this webinar, you’ll get an up-close look at tools from Cidi Labs that can make every step of your course design process much easier – from building and reviewing to refining your Canvas courses. We’ll demonstrate how these tools can help improve the quality and accessibility of your online courses – without the technical skills, large teams, or oodles of time that are often required to do so.

New DesignPLUS Video Resources!

We’re happy to announce the availability of a set of new tutorial videos for DesignPLUS, available on our YouTube Channel.  These videos are a great way to introduce course designers to the major features and benefits of the DesignPLUS toolset.

For those who want to dive a little deeper, we’ve launched a new video series called Cidi Spotlights, aimed at highlighting specific features of DesignPLUS and demonstrating how they can be used to enhance your Canvas courses.  Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel, as new videos are added regularly!

Increasing Student Engagement with a Focus on Usability in Online Courses

By focusing on usability in course design, we can remove many of the obstacles that may stand in the way of an engaging and satisfying online learning experience for students.

In this 20-minute session we presented at InstructureCon North America and an accompanying blog post, we explore the key elements of usability in course design, provide practical tips and examples, and demonstrate how our tools can help you easily apply these concepts to your Canvas course.

Until next time, we’re sending our best to you all!
